Parent-Child FPV Drone Night

Join LHER for the thrilling, immersive experience of parent-child duos learning together how to pilot an FPV (First Person View) drone and simulate the experience of flying. While attending 2 hours of training, parent-child duos will engage in hands-on activities, challenges, and drone flights while learning to operate and maintain FPV drones. A parent and 1 child aged 12+ years old will have the opportunity to fly with FPV goggles and a simulator, navigate courses, avoid obstacles, understand drone safety and line of sight flying, fly in Acro mode, do tricks, and explore Betaflight. Enthusiasts may also learn to identify drone parts, features, and equipment for future troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.

NOTE:  FPV Drone Nights are not a drop-off activity; a parent must attend and participate with the student in FPV Drone Nights.  The extent of activities experienced by each parent-child duo will vary according to their particular learning curve for new skill development.  Older children, such as high school students, may pick up skills more quickly than younger students...or not.  Try it and see.
