Growing FIRST Programs and STEM Opportunities for Students
Experience Thrilling Head-to-Head Competition:
Following a sports model, robotics teams design, build, program, and operate robots of their own design to play a floor game in an alliance format. Guided by adult Coaches and Mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and sharing ideas. Teams compete at scrimmages to prepare for official tournaments. Competitive events provide students with the opportunities to test their robot designs in a real-world environment and allow the community to experience the thrilling head-to-head competition, see first-hand what students are learning, and discover opportunities to grow STEM locally.

LHER, Inc. directs coaches in the FIRST grant process and share how their teams have obtained funding from other souces.
Help with Parts
LHER, Inc. uses their established relationships with robotics vendors to help new teams make connections to obtain gift certificates or free parts from completing FTC registration.
Help Navigate the Season
LHER, Inc. comes alongside new FTC teams to help them experience success. Their team's coaches and students can answer questions, share lessons learned, practice together, provide guidance and tips, and do everything possible to help new teams experience the same levels of success that their teams have had, and beyond.
